FALL 2010 REGIONAL CURSILLO ENCOUNTER IN INDIANAPOLIS
Download registration form to attend Cursillo's Region IV Encounter Weekend on October 22-24, 2010 at the Benedict Inn Retreat and Conference Center here in Beech Grove (Indianapolis).  The weekend is focused at those individuals who have previously made a Cursillo and would like to renew their commitment to Christ.  Encounter talks will be based on the book by Fr. David Knight titled "Reaching Jesus, 5 Steps to a Fuller Life".  Registration is $50, including meals.  Optional lodging is available at the Inn.  If you can't make the weekend, attend the Grand Ultreya (it's free) on Saturday night.  Don't miss this opportunity to share your faith with 100s of Cursillistas from 16 dioceses.  Registration deadline is October 8.

CITY-WIDE ULTREYA
Indianapolis is rotating Ultreya locations for 2010.  If your parish or group reunion would like to host this event for one month, please contact Bill Halsema at (317) 255-5325.  Bill will assist with witness speakers and music.

GROUP REUNION IS A PRIORITY
We have made this our goal for 2010.  Using the method of "make a friend, be a friend", find one Cursillista who isn't active with Cursillo and invite them to join your group.  Need help finding a group??  Click on the "Group" tab at the top of this page.

THE CURSILLO IS BORN
This article was written about an early Cursillo weekend in 1949.  It is not the "first Cursillo" (as the author states), but the first time that the exercises were "officially sanctioned" by the Church in Spain.

EVENTS LEADING TO CURSILLO
The birth of Cursillo was the work of the Holy Spirit, active in the lives of the Spanish founders.  Enjoy this "before-cursillo" history.

WITNESS FROM FIRST CURSILLO
Here is a wonderful account from a candidate on the very first Cursillo weekend, held on the Island of Mallorca in 1944.  It was given on the 60th anniversary celebration of the movement in 2004.  It should be noted that the author of this article was sharing his weekly group reunion with Eduardo Bonnin, rector of that first weekend.
