Christ is counting on us, and we are counting on Christ!

My fellow Cursillistas,

Happy Easter season to you and your families!! To quote our Orthodox brothers and sister, “Christ is risen, he is risen indeed!” The parallels between Christ rising from the dead and our own Fourth days are many; starting with the invocation of the Holy Spirit - our introductory prayer! Catholics are known as an Easter people, I challenge all Cursillistas to be Pentecostal Catholics! Listen, discern and let the Spirit guide you in the directions he has for you. If one of those directions is giving back to the Cursillo movement, please act on it. We can use help in any and all of these areas: Ultreya, School of Leaders, serving on a weekend, and the Secretariat.

Please pray unceasingly for the Cursillo movement: worldwide, nationally and in the Birmingham Diocese. In particular please keep our Rector for the upcoming Women’s weekend, Melanie McNary, and her team in your prayers as they go through team formation.
